A causa de mi precio bajo en el paquete de boda, me preocupa que algunas personas podrían pensar que uso equipo de fotografía de baja calidad. Me gustaría dejar claro que utilizar el equipo 100% profesional. A continuación se encuentra mi “estuche para flash”. Mantengo mi juego de flash en este estuche.
En cualquier caso, debe ver la creación de ilinunacion en 5 minutos por sesion, estos son para la fotografía oficial. Me gusta utilizar 2 ajuste de flash inalámbricas. A veces utilizo una luz de fondo. Literalmente, corro de esquina a esquina para medir las luces, y aun asi me organizo para mantener a la gente sonriendo y divertida.

** Geek Blog Warning **
Además de mi grado como en la fotografía, tengo una Licenciatura en equipo. Tanto como disfruto de la fotografía también puedo disfrutar de computación y la electrónica. Cuando tenía 12 años me hice a mí mismo un transistor de radio (por soldadura de diminutos componentes electrónicos en la placa del circuito).
La fotografía es el arte y la ciencia (y los negocios:)). Este blog muestra mi cerebro izquierdo en el trabajo.
Necesitaba hacer algunas reparaciones a mi flash. Pensé que sería bueno instalar un disparador remoto jack en mi Canon 580EX. Tengo un sistema de flash sin cables para bodas, para situaciónes normales. Con esta modificación, tendré más flexible configuración de la iluminación sin llevar unidad de flash. Está todo bien y divertido. No podía resistir el impulso de abrirlo y ver lo que puedia hacer.
Page $380,00 por este flash hace menos de un año. Pero sin sudar. Esto es algo bien sabido entre los fotógrafos, arreglar la tecnología personal. He encontrado las instrucciónes en línea y simplemente seguir lo que dice. Todo el proyecto fue sencillo y divertido. Pense que seria un poco más complicado.
PS. El proyecto se llevó a cabo debido a dos acontecimientos recientes: 1.) No tenía Internet por unas semanas. Así que tenia algo de tiempo libre para disfrutar de otras cosas. 2.) Tenía que ir a trabajar a una boda y tomar fotografias en Santa Bárbara hace pocos días atras. La la ubicación de la ceremonia era muy oscuro. Sentí la necesidad de añadir un flash más en mi line-up.

VenturaWeekly.com es mi proyecto mascota . Realmente disfruto de la fotografía.
Tengo un pequeño paquete de fotografía llamada “Hora Feliz”. Al igual que la hora feliz en bares locales, los clientes pueden disfrutar de los servicios a bajo precio durante las horas lentas. Mis horas lentas de los días de semana son después de 5pm. Aprovecho cualquier tipo de imágenes (NO bodas) por $175. Yo no viajo demasiado lejos por este paquete.
No puedo tomar fotos barato los sábados y domingos porque hago bodas y cumplo con los clientes. Estoy super ocupado durante el fin de semana. Y yo hago mas dinero (Sudo mucho, tengo mas stress, hago que todos sonrian y se sientan relajados… y llevar a cabo mi trabajo.)
Una familia me quería contratar para una “Hora Feliz” especial en la playa. En realidad se trataba de una escuela secundaria superior para el proyecto de fotografía. Le dije que llebara a su familia por lo que les tomaría fotos a ellos también. Así, no sólo han hecho su la fotografía para recuerdo de la escuela; también toda su familia recibirá sus fotos y no representa ningún costo adicional.
Hemos hecho un arreglo especial ya que tenía una cita para fotografía para un período de sesione el sábado por la noche. Nos reunimos en el café Starbucks en Camarillo.
Fue mucha diversión .. Muchas risas.

I had a quick Saturday Morning photography gig today.
They are Mariachi Sol Huasteco from Oxnard, California.
I remember when they used to practice in the garage in Camarillo.
We took photographs under my favorite tree at my favorite park.
It’s my secret location 
I took some group shots and individual hots.
They played one song at the end. They were very good.
I have known them for about 3 years, when there were just starting out.
Little Valentin (my favorite) is getting better all the time.
Valentine plays two instruments; guitar and violin.
He reminds me of DJ from the 90’s comedy Roseanne.
Mariachi Sol Huasteco had definitely improved since I saw them last time.
I was a little tired today, I had to skip on meeting my mother. :(
I will call her next week, promise.

The new program guide for Camarillo YMCA is out.
I took pictures for this program magazine a few months ago.
(this is where I met my past wedding client)
They used 31 of my images there.
I’m happy to see those pictures.
It’s fun to do something other than weddings.
** 3 page sample: I didn’t photograph the large image on the back cover. Other then that, I photographed everything else.

I had a photography assignment at YMCA. I spent 4 hours to take pictures of various activities lead by friendly staff members. It was the first time for me to personally experience what YMCA was all about. YMCA was more than just a fitness facility. They act as a baby-sitter, a school, and a playground as well. I have also attended their staff meeting to take photographs. They were talking about their philosophy and the goal for the future.
Earlier, at children’s activity, I met my wedding client (groom) from the wedding 2 years ago. He was leading activities for kids. He told me that they still carry their wedding album to show people. He said “You did a good job”. “Thank you, thank you” I replied. He told me they have a 4 months old baby girl now.
It was nice meeting him. Because I remember everything from his wedding, (strong wind at the beach, bride’s Adidas sneakers, balloon strings on the face when slow-dancing, groom’s first prayer as a head of household, electric slide, cake with sea-shell decoration, etc, etc…) I told him some of the details of his wedding that I remember. We laughed.
I meet past wedding photography clients constantly when I’m out . That’s why I always try to be nice to people. Not that I’m a bad boy.

I don’t have any more wedding photography gigs for the rest of the year. But I do have 4 days of photography job coming.
Every Saturday on December, I will be taking pictures of Santa Clause with children.
Today, I went to the location to check out the lighting.
I met Mrs. Santa Clause (under-cover) there.
I talked to the photo lab owner and checked out everything.
I will be using their studio equipment & camera.
They were missing some small hardware… so, I’ll have to bring mine.
I ended up selling my studio hardware to the studio owner.
I used to teach bible school for over 2 years.
I’m good with kids.
It will be fun.

There was a quick family photography session on the beach at Mandalay Bay Resort in Oxnard. The whole thing lasted about 2 hours. (1 hour actual shooting).
A family of 32 got together for a dinner. They wanted some family portraits.
Mandalay Bay is a very popular wedding spot. I did 2-3 weddings here before.
